Supreme Court of Tasmania

Sentences - Publication

Sentences handed down in the Supreme Court of Tasmania are generally published on the Court's web site on the day the sentence is imposed. They remain on the site for one month and can be accessed using the Alphabetical Listing. Sentences for the last seven days can be found using the Latest Sentences link.

If you cannot find the sentence you are looking for it may be because:

  • Initials have been used rather than the person's surname. This occurs when the offender is under 18 years of age or there is a need to protect the identity of the victim; or
  • the sentence has been removed because it is more than one month since the sentence was imposed.

To request a sentence not available on the web site fill out the details on the Request Form and submit.
NOTE: A current email address must be provided on the Form otherwise we will have not be able to reply to you.
