Wi-Fi in Criminal Court Building, Hobart

The Supreme Court has expanded its Wi-Fi network into the Criminal Courts Building in Hobart as part of a pilot project being conducted until mid-2013.  Access to Wi-Fi will be by request, and free of charge during the pilot period.

The Wi-Fi network enables 3 classes of users to benefit from wireless access from the court building to the Internet and other network resources:

Requests for password access should be directed to staff at the registry counter in the Criminal Courts building in Hobart.

Subject to evaluation after the pilot period, the Court will consider Wi-Fi installations in the Launceston and Burnie court buildings.
