The Honourable Justice Pierre Slicer will retire from the Bench on Friday, 18 September 2009.
There will be a special ceremonial sitting to mark his retirement in the No. 1 Civil Court, Salamanca Place, Hobart, at 3pm on Friday, 18 September 2009.
Hobart: If the number of people attending is more than can be accommodated in No. 1 Civil Court, the proceedings will be able to be viewed via closed circuit TV from Court No 2.
Launceston: Arrangements have been made for the proceedings to be viewed in Court No 1 in Launceston via video link.
All practitioners are invited to attend.
Those practitioners intending to robe are advised that no wig is to be worn.
