New prodedures for the disposition of indictable offences in the Supreme Court of Tasmania will commence on 1 February 2008. Legislation implementing these procedures can be found in the Justices Amendment Act 2007, Act No 22 of 2007 (commencing on 1 February 2008).
Further information is available in the Criminal Amendment (Directions Hearing) Rules 2008 (gazetted on 23 January 2008) and Practice Direction No 1 of 2008.
